The percent of rain in inches is 90in,in the temperate Rainforest. The temperature is about 79 degrees(26' celsius).
on top is a map of our biome, the season is cooler than the dry season.
3. ecosystem in our biome
This rainforest is located at the northwest of U.S.A and west of Canada and neer alaska it goes trough california, oregon, washington,bc, and a little of alaska and canada.
4. Food Web
producers: strawberry's, grass, trees
first class consumers:butterfly,mise,grasshoper,deer,moose,bird,squirrel.
second class consumers: coyote,racoon,hawk,jaguar,skunck.
pyramid of our biomes ^_^
Research organisms from the specific location in your biome and create a typical food web that may be found in the area. The food web must be created by you – NOT copied from the web
Include at least 10 labeled organisms
Create an energy pyramid based on one chain in your food web
Label trophic levels and percent of available energy at each level
5. Ecosystem Disruption
Pacific Coast Rainforest:
Destruction of the Pacific Coast Rainforest is due to logging, causing a major depletion of the forests.
Logging doesn't cause anything bad to happen with the rain forest. The outcomes of logging almost guarantee sustainable use of its forests.
Sustainable logging is when trees are cut down but the smaller and healthy ones are left to keep growing. This type of logging does happen in the temperate rain forest.
